The MEM Program (IEST courses) is a dual delivery program, in which students can primarily enrol in IEST courses for IN-PERSON
(CR01) delivery or secondarily by DISTANCE (CR02) (called ONLINE when you enrol). For students in or near Sydney, you are
strongly encouraged to enrol IN-PERSON (CR01) as: 1. Face-to-face learning lends a vibrant and connected sense of community
and supports engaged learning, vitally benefiting learners during courses and far beyond graduation; 2. should professional
or pressing personal situations arise, seminar recordings are available to both in-person and distance students; and 3. Distance
spaces are limited and exist for people who need to learn online because they have circumstances that make it impossible to
attend seminars that term in person. Distance learning is layered on top of the in-person seminars, with distance learners
expected to attend in-person seminars live through the course online platform (with two-way engagement, depending on course)
or, if they cannot, to watch recordings of the seminars. Note for MEM program students needing to learn by distance: If distance
enrolment in an IEST course you require is full, please contact the School (hal@unsw.edu.au) directly about the possibility
of opening up a space. |
